Selling
Membership, listings, and what opens checkout.
Membership is required to accept orders
Listing is free. Accepting money is not. An active paid membership is what opens checkout on your storefront: without one your products stay visible and browsable, but a buyer cannot complete a purchase. There are two tiers, both allow selling, and the higher one adds a stronger verification level and the features attached to it.
If a membership payment fails
A failed payment opens a grace period. Nothing changes during it: you keep selling while the payment is retried. Checkout closes only once the grace period ends without a successful payment, and it reopens the moment one goes through.
Listings
- Products can be physical or digital, with inventory, shipping and tax per item.
- Services are listed the same way but are enquiry-based rather than checkout-based.
- Supply and Demand posts are public "looking for" and "offering" announcements, separate from your catalogue.
- Reviews come from verified buyers only, and are ranked so a single review cannot swing a rating.
Orders
A cart that spans several sellers splits into one order per seller, so payouts, shipping and disputes stay separate. Stock is reserved when a buyer checks out and deducted when the payment is confirmed, which is what stops two buyers from taking the last unit.
There is a minimum order total of $5 per seller. Below roughly that amount the fixed part of the card fee eats the whole order.
